No matter how big your Turo crew is, task distribution comes easily with CarSync’s multi-users
In the last quarter of 2021, CarSync launched multi-user accounts. For the first time, our users were able to invite their team of trusted employees to the CarSync account, hence the name of the feature — Your Team. These are some of the characteristics that set the feature apart:
- No matter how big your Turo team is, task distribution comes easily (Hint: there’s no limit on the number of teammates you can add),
- Sharing either your Turo or CarSync credentials becomes a matter of the past! (Each user logs in with their username and password, thus reducing the security threat to your account),
- You can set the specific user permissions to separate sensitive data.
New and improved YOUR TEAM feature 🚀
At first, we offered a limited set of permissions. All the users you added could track your cars, and each teammate with access to reservations could block off the days on the calendar and set a car unavailable.
From there, we focused on expanding the list of permissions. The goal was to pick up more use cases, and, eventually, to put control in the hands of our users by enabling them to independently tailor the permissions to fit each team member.
Our improved Your Team feature offers a granular access control that puts you in charge — you decide on what a user is authorized to do in your CarSync account! 🎯
This update brings five specific roles and a wide array of additional individual permissions. The roles encompass those we’ve recognized as most common among the employees:
- Admin 🛡️ (As an admin, your team member has access to all the individual permissions),
- Financial manager,
- Reservations manager,
- Cleaning, and
- Delivery.
Each role groups the standard permissions those employees have. However, you are not limited to the predefined set of permissions. Choose from a long list of individual permissions that CarSync now offers and customize the role of each user based on your needs! 🙌
