As high-demand summer months are behind us, the vast majority of car sharing markets have entered a slow period. Even so, CarSync continues to roll out updates. The aim is to support our customers’ needs and help them prepare for the next busy season — the winter holidays. Here are some of the new features we’re excited to highlight!
The need for multi-user accounts
As your fleet grows, so does the workload. Once you’ve built a team of trusted employees, task distribution becomes a challenge. Turo offers only a limited solution — the option of assigning a custodian, however, they don’t have access to vehicle and booking information. Finally, sharing your Turo login credentials (username and password) with each person that you want to help manage your listings is a substantial security threat to your business.
Inadequate solutions for distributing an expanding workload is a major problem our customers have been faced with. Being aware of it, the CarSync team set out on a mission to help them overcome this pain point.
The advantages of CarSync’s multi-user account feature
CarSync now allows its customers to invite their team (add users) to their accounts (Hooray! 🥳), and these are some of the new feature’s advantages:
- You can delegate the tasks more effectively.
- Each user logs in with their own username and password.
- You are able to set the specific user permissions to separate sensitive data.
- There is no limit on the number of teammates you can add!

- Integration with SHAiR — the platform that sparked the interest of the P2P car sharing community.
- An addition to the list of trackers CarSync supports — FleetLocate by Spireon.
